治安学的定义为 :研究治安现象、治安现象产生的原因以及治安对策的科学。治安学与社会治安综合治理 (学 )、犯罪学、侦查学之间的区分 ,关键是要找出它们之间的“特殊矛盾性”。现有专业教材或课程的设置大多是按照治安管理工作的实际业务内容来划分的 ,由于缺乏高度的理论抽象为指导或支撑 ,因而出现了一些问题。任何科学的具体学科 (或课程设置 )都必须依据该门科学的研究对象和学科体系来划分或确定 ,否则就是不够严密甚至是不科学的。
Public security is defined as: the study of public order, the causes of public order and the science of public order. The key point of the distinction between public security science and social security comprehensive governance (criminology), criminology and detective science is to find out the “special contradictions” between them. The existing professional teaching materials or curriculum settings are mostly classified according to the actual business content of public security management. Due to the lack of highly theoretical abstraction as guidance or support, some problems have arisen. Any scientific specific subject (or course setting) must be based on the science of the subject and disciplinary system to be divided or determined, or is not rigorous or even unscientific.
