“长农四号”大豆新品种是以立新九号×(十胜长叶×黑农十一)复合杂交育成。1981年～1983年经吉林省大豆新品种联合区域试验鉴定,除生育期比“九农九号”晚2～3d以外,其他性状均表现优良,增产显著,平均增产达15.5％。1985年3月由吉林省品种审定委员会审定通过并命名为“长农四号”。该品种具有高产、抗病虫、倒伏等特点,因而在省内外迅速推广。1988年省内外种植面积已达300万亩以上。
“Long Nong 4” new varieties of soybean is based on the new Lixin × (Tokachi long leaves × Black Nongnong 11) compound hybrid breeding. From 1981 to 1983, it was appraised by the joint regional trial of new varieties of soybean in Jilin Province that all other traits performed well and the yield was increased significantly with the average increase of 15.5% except that the growth period was 2 ~ 3 days later than that of “Nine-agricultural No.9”. March 1985 by the Jilin Provincial Commission approved the species approval and named “Chang Nong four.” The variety has high yield, pest resistance, lodging and other characteristics, and thus rapidly promote both inside and outside the province. In 1988, the planting area inside and outside the province has reached more than 3 million mu.
