黔豆５号系以湘春豆１０号为母本，浙春一号为父本进行有性杂交，经５年７代选育于１９８９年育成的高产早熟粮菜兼用型大豆新品种。省区试单产为１２６１ｋｇ／ｈｍ２，比对照品种安豆２号增产１２．８％；生产试验１７０５ｋｇ／ｈｍ２，比对照品种大白豆、五月拔等平均增产１９．１％。早熟８．１ｄ。表现抗倒伏、粒大饱满、品质优良，适宜用作蔬菜青豆及加工豆腐。１９９６年经贵州省农作物品种审定委员会审定通过，定名为黔豆５号，可在贵州省中、西部海拔１０００～１５００ｍ地区推广。
Qiang Dou 5 was a hybrid of high yielding early-maturing grain and new soybean that had been bred in 1989 with 5 generations of Xiangyu-Wu 10 as the female parent and Zhechun-1 as the male parent.
