次生林扶育间伐,已经有二十多年历史了。但是,在调查设计上,基本上还按照过去二十多年前的老一套。对比今天林业测调技术的发展,应该引起我们的深思。现就次生林间伐调查设计上的一些问题,提提我们的看法。1.测量。目前,扶育间伐林地的测量,还是沿用罗盘测角,测绳拉距的繁重作业。这在镶嵌性大的次生林,还要分别测出人工林、疏林、灌木林、荒山、林中空地和不够间伐密度的次生林类型(封育或改造型)等等,要花费不少人力、物力和时间。在航测甚至卫星遥感技术发展的今天,我们应该改革过去的罗盘测量,而应用航测技术。
