1952年8月7日,政务院正式批准建立国家统计局,继而各省市的统计机构陆续诞生,新中国统计事业日益走向了繁荣、兴旺.明年的8月7日,恰逢新中国政府统计机构创建四十周年.为了纪念这一光辉的日子,《中国统计信息报》、《中国统计》月刊联合举办“闪光的数据,辉煌的历程’有奖征文活动,以歌颂新中国统计事业在党的领导下所走过的光辉历程,弘扬统计工作的优良传统,扩大统计的社会影响,激励广大统计工作者“热爱统计工作,献身统计事业”,进一步推动我国统计改革和建设的发展.本项征文由北京四通集团公司电源事业部协办.
