The formation of clumps in the nucleus is an important manifestation of nuclear multibody dynamics. At the same time, it is also one of the most interesting phenomena in nuclear physics. The study of clumping and caking in the nucleus has always been the subject of nuclear physics research important topic. In this paper, we present the historical background of nuclear cluster research and some important cluster models. In the meantime, we elaborate on a recently proposed new concept of cluster physics, a non-localized cluster. We think that the clumps in the nucleus are nonlocalized and that they can move freely and nonlocally throughout the nucleus, just because the Pauli blocking effect can not be too close. This is in contrast to the traditional localization Concept of a completely different concept group. The concept of non-localized clumps allowed us to deepen the understanding of clumping in nuclei and to provide a new way to explore more complex nuclear clumps.
