对于美国的医疗机构来说,在努力提高医疗质量的同时,另一方面如何降低成本已成为今后医疗界摆脱困境的关键课题。提高医疗质量和降低成本,同时要解决这两个课题的最佳方法是目前在美国受到重视的综合质量管理(TQM:Total Quality Management)。也有人报导在美国几乎70％的医院都采用了TQM这一经营战略。 这里我们概述一下TQM的思路,同时也报道一下美国的TQM的实施状况。
For the medical institutions in the United States, while trying to improve the quality of medical care, on the other hand, how to reduce costs has become a key issue for the medical profession to overcome its difficulties in the future. The best way to improve the quality of medical care and reduce costs while addressing these two issues is to have TQM (Total Quality Management), which is currently valued in the United States. It was also reported that nearly 70% of hospitals in the United States have adopted the TQM business strategy. Here we outline the idea of TQM and also report on the status of implementation of TQM in the United States.
