新课程改革的推进让所有的教师都意识到课程资源开发和利用的重要性。在众多的课程资源中如何找寻适合自己的并加以充分利用,是很多教师困惑的问题。也许小数报作为一种课程资源并没有其他课程资源来得那么直接,但是作为一种面向小学生的数学报, “传播数学文化、开启思维之门、拓宽知识视野、提高学习能力”作为办报的宗旨和方向,她更加贴近儿童。她所呈现的数学童话、数学故事、数学活动、数学历史以及其中蕴涵的数学思想方法等等,也许不仅“作用”于学生,而且也“反作用”于我们的教师身上。她不仅有助于我们更好地理解学生,更有助于我们进行课堂教学、专题研究和命题设计等等。作为一种“教学资源”,她的内容不仅充满儿童化、生活化、活动化的色彩,而且蕴涵着数学思想方法和数学文化的渗透。她对于我们进行教学的影响有时是显性的、直接的,而更多的时候是隐性的、间接的。她让我们的教学思路更加宽广,让我们的教学手段更加多样, 让我们的教学内容更加生动。
