May 18, 1993 This is a day of extraordinary significance in the history of the development of industrial non-destructive testing technology in China. Late at night, an extremely humble campus near Chongqing University was lit up in a laboratory built in the 1950s. The main engine room, a unit like a large machine tool, is working. The sound and penetrating rays emitted by the main engine are tightly sealed by thick iron doors and steel cement walls. Control room, a group of experts sitting in front of the computer, eyes staring at the screen, quietly looking forward to that computer and its connected computers and systems
