With the continuous development of communication technology in our country, Softswitch technology, as the core technology of the next generation communication network, has been widely accepted and valued by the industry once proposed. Therefore, the content of softswitch technology and its application are discussed. The concept, function, main characteristics and network structure of softswitch are introduced. Then the main application of softswitch technology is analyzed for reference.
