我场种植白菜型油菜,一般采用条播(也有交叉播),其植株高度60—90厘米,从10厘米高度开始结荚,茎粗6—8毫米(有的达12毫米),腊熟期大部分倒伏,而茎秆尚青,切割阻力为小麦的2—4倍,加之侧枝多,互相交叉严重,不(?)分禾,原有的收割机不能满足收割油菜的农艺要求.我们从1975年开始,在学习兄弟单位先进经验的基础上,对原有的收割机进行了改装,先后共改13台,1977年还试制两台无过桥割晒机,基本上满足了油菜机械收获的要求.
