饰品,是构成空间背景最基本的元素。自有文明以来,无论身处贫穷或富裕环境,人类的家宅之中,必有一二组件,是无关生存所需,或被赋予机能之外的雕琢。这些对象尽管形态、材质、语汇如何不同,但不约而同地反射人类对美的追求,更直接呈现家宅主人的文化偏好。对我来说,背景墙是装饰主义的延伸放大,它不只是一面墙,而是整体空间的装置艺术,所阐述的主题则是空间主人的外显表现。
Jewelry, is the most basic element of the space background. Since the birth of civilization, no matter in a poor or affluent environment, there must be one or two components in a house of human beings that are irrelevant to their existence or given functions other than carving. Although these objects are different in form, material and vocabulary, they spontaneously reflect the pursuit of beauty to mankind and present the cultural preferences of house-owners more directly. To me, the background wall is an extension of the decorativeism. It is not just a wall, but an installation art of the whole space. The theme it expresses is the explicit manifestation of the space master.
