一个带着中央和国务院对离休干部深切关怀的文件在“两节”之前下发了。1月9日,中组部召开全国老干部局长会,又专门对落实这项工作做了具体部署。这份由中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅转发的中组部、国家经贸委、财政部、人事部、劳动和社会保障部、卫生部《关于落实离休干部离休费、医药费的意见》(以下简称《意见》),对从根本上解决离休干部“两费”被拖欠问题具有重要指导意义。会议期间,本刊记者就其中离休干部普遍关心的一些问题采访了中组部有关负责人。
A document with deep concern for retired cadres by the Central Government and the State Council was issued before “two sessions.” On January 9, the Central Organization Department held a meeting of the chiefs of veteran cadres across the country, and specifically made concrete arrangements for the implementation of this work. During the meeting, our correspondents interviewed the responsible persons of the Central Organization Department about some issues that the retired cadres are generally concerned about.
