不少人怕见记者,特别不愿见那些咄咄逼人,好寻根刨底找岔子的外国记者。我们敬爱的周恩来总理生前十分重视同来自世界各个角落的记者打交道。不管是向他善意的提问,还是故意寻衅,他都对答如流,应付裕如,常常使一些最爱挑剔的记者都词穷语塞,为之折服。在我多年驻外记者生涯中,忘不了二十四年前周总理在新德里“舌战群儒”的一次记者招待会。那是一九六○年四月,周总理为了谋求中印边界问题能得到合理的解决,应邀再次去印度首都新
Many people are afraid to meet with reporters and are especially reluctant to meet foreign journalists who are overbearing and find root cause. In his lifetime, our beloved Premier Zhou Enlai paid great attention to dealing with journalists from all corners of the world. Whether it is a question of his kindness or a deliberate provocation, he answers the questions and meets the needs of others, often making some of the most discerning reporters wordy and impolite. During my many years as a foreign correspondent, I can not forget a press conference held by Prime Minister Twenty-four years ago in New Delhi.
