接收机设计人员一直盼望实现全数字结构的那一天,那时天线将能直接把信号馈送到模拟—数字转换器(DAC)上。随着Maxim集成产品公司MAX104 ADC的推出,这一天看来为时不远了。这种单片转换器具有1GS/s的采样速度和8位分辨力,给高频、大带宽数字通信接收机、数字示波器和高速数据采集(DAQ)系统创立了新的性能标准。它支持高于2.2GHz带宽的信号变换,并解决了这些设备应用所特有的很多苛刻的动态性能要求。
Receiver designers have been looking forward to the day when the all-digital architecture is in place and the antenna will feed the signal directly to the analog-to-digital converter (DAC). With the introduction of the MAX104 ADC from Maxim Integrated Products, this day does not seem far off. With a 1GS / s sampling rate and 8-bit resolution, this monolithic converter creates new performance standards for high-frequency, high-bandwidth digital communication receivers, digital oscilloscopes, and high-speed data acquisition (DAQ) systems. It supports signal transforms above 2.2 GHz bandwidth and addresses many of the harsh dynamic performance requirements unique to these device applications.
