要讨论后现代艺术,首先在概念上 要弄清两个问题:一、后现代主义与后 现代艺术是完全不同的两个概念。后现 代主义是一种世界观,它具有很多流派, 不同流派之间有矛盾、有斗争,也有相 通之处。后现代艺术只不过是以艺术的 方式追索后现代理念的种种表现。二、正 因为后现代思想有流派之间的斗争,所 以,我们应当明白美国当代的后现代艺 术的思想逻辑和世界角色是什么。
To discuss postmodern art, we must first of all conceptualize two issues: First, postmodernism and postmodern art are two completely different concepts. Postmodernism is a worldview. It has many schools of different genres. There are conflicts among different schools of thought, and there are also similarities between them. Postmodern art is nothing more than the pursuit of various manifestations of postmodernism in an artistic way. Second, precisely because the postmodernism has the struggle among the schools of thought, we should understand what is the ideological logic and role of the contemporary postmodern art in the United States.
