1月9日,《人民日报》的《今日谈》栏刊有几句“编者的话”,明告作者:“拟编用稿件,于收到后一周内通知作者,未收到通知的可自行处理。”本人是个常“爬格子”的人,因而对于《今日谈》编者的话,格外多一层感想。现在办报办刊物,编者一定十分忙碌。因而有许多报刊宣布:由于来稿多,人手少,一般来稿一律不退,望见谅。那么,“来稿一律不退”,作者何时能知道稿件能用或者不能用呢?许多报刊似乎不谋而合,规定:3个月(或2个月)内不见录用通知,可另行处理。这是要命的二三个月!常常有许多稿件,因为有二三个月的折腾,“少年”变“老头”,新意成旧话,最终不能面世。不少作者恪守不“一稿多投”的写稿道德,但又有收到退稿后改投他处、“周
