Autism is expected to be cured Recently, researchers at Canada’s McGill University and the University of Montreal found that a key protein synthesis is associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The process by which cells make proteins involves all aspects of the cell and body functions. A new study found that the synthesis of neuroligins, an abnormally high group of neuronal proteins in mice, can cause symptoms of ASD. The results also show that autistic-like behavior in adult mice can be corrected by inhibiting the synthetic compounds of the protein or modifying related genes.
