Halei Indian residence is located in the southwest corner of the Colorado Plateau in northern Arizona. Tens of thousands of erosion-capped brecciated barrels emerge in valleys and plateaus in the northern part of Arizona. The barrels begin with the Early Carboniferous red-wall limestone, ending up later Paleozoic strata, and partially extending into the Triassic Moenkopis and Chinain formations. The production of high-grade uranium deposits and associated by-products such as Ag, Pb, Zn, Cu, Co and Ni in some barrels contribute to prospecting and mining activities in northern Arizona, although many of these metals are now in the sales market Depression period. Over the past three years, more than 900 conclusive and questionable breccia cartridges about Halei Indians’ residence have been compiled. Although boreholes are readily identifiable in the gorge area, where the vertical faces of the barrels are exposed, a large area of northern Arizona lies in the untouched plateau. The identification of rock barrels in these plateau areas is of particular importance because the mining of deposits in the plateau region is easier than that in the gorge area and large area covered sandstones provide more sites for mineral deposits. On these contiguous plateaus, shallow tectonic basins often appear on the surface above breccia barrels. We have chosen the National Tank area, an Indian-owned Haley Indian residence, to cover the densely-populated subsidence (suspected to be breccia tubes) on these plateaus. Because most of these areas are covered with soil with only a small amount of rock outcrops, methods such as soil geochemical measurements, soil helium measurements, Bacillus cereus and geophysical surveys are used to assess that the subsidence is a breccia cylinder rather than a shallow The possibility of basic dissolved landscape size. Circular erosion patterns and vegetation changes in the Rincinar Tanks area are only visible traces of collapsed landforms. Twenty-five collapsed landforms are depicted and described in the area; among them, the three collapsed landforms 534, 569 and 570 are probably the most promising mineralized breccia tubes.
