1992年,中国第一家“私家侦探”在上海创立。近年来,随着市场经济的纵深发展,“私家侦探”在我国北京、南京、成都、沈阳等一些大中城市以“调查事务机构”的名义相继出现,其业务范围相当广泛且取得了一定社会效果。如今在西方国家,私家侦探已成为一种像律师或医生一样的普通职业。然而目前我国现行法律法规对此规范却相当滞后。究竟应该怎样正确对待这一“新生事物”已引起社会及法律界的广泛关注。
