汉画像石是汉代人民遗留给我们的一份宝贵的文化遗产,其以艺术的形式形象地再现、反映了当时的社会生活及思想意识形态。汉画像石画面复杂,题材多样,既有反映历史人物故事的,如孔子见老子等;也有反映现实生活的,如疱厨图、宴图、车马出行图、狩猎图等等。另外,在汉画像石题材中还有不可忽略的一部分内容,即丰富多彩、光怪陆离的神怪故事,而其中的伏羲女娲图像尤占有很重的分量,格外引人注目。这不仅是因为在古代的神话传说中伏羲女娲便是颇有名气的人物,更为重要的在于在新的社会和文化背景下,汉代的艺术家赋予他们的全新内容,从而反映了当时社会的诸多问题。本文仅对汉画像石中所见伏羲女娲图像及其相关问题作一简单探讨。一、汉画像石中所见伏羲女娲画像的种类及地域特点
