Jean Sibelius was born in Tawastehus, Finland, in 1865, and the symphony of Järvenpää, Finland, 1957, was known as the “Monster of the Middle Ages.” However, due to the masterpiece “Finnish song”, he suddenly became famous abroad. When the Soviet Union attacked Finland in 1939, the United States issued a stamp bearing the portrait of Sibelius and the words “I need your help.” In the field of music, it can be said that he alone brought a hot race into the twentieth century. No wonder then he had to rest for nearly three decades. (From 1931 until his death, Sibelius never published anything in the last twenty-six years of his life, so the author laughs.)
