“低碳”是当今世界最时尚的词之一,有关低碳的设计也就备受关注。近年来,“集装箱房屋”因为工期短,成本低,材料可以重复利用等特点受到众多开发公司的关注。国外相关媒体指出,“集装箱房屋”有望引发一场住的革命,它为众多大型节日和综合性运动会的举办提供了全新的思路。某酒店经营者也说:“在繁忙时期,我们可以为客人提供一个临时性酒店。活动结束后,我们可以迅速将其拆除。”而且,集装箱完全可以抵御恶劣气候的侵袭。
