本文介绍了1983年3月20日发生在辽宁熊岳西海域的4.8级地震的基本概况,研究了地震活动性参数和某些力学特征,并对这次地震发生的意义做了讨论,认为这次地震证实了该部位为地壳水平扩张的构造活动形式,应把这次地震作为产生海城大震的地壳构造活动的一部分。
This paper presents a basic survey of the M 4.8 earthquake that occurred in the Xiong Yue West Sea area on March 20, 1983, studied the seismicity parameters and some mechanical characteristics, and discussed the significance of the earthquake.
