一片青山绿水,一硅飞向蓝天,一茶飘香四海,一刀雕出乾坤,一举享誉世界——这就是开化,浙江的“西大门”。“九山半水半分田”的开化,拥有林业用地面积285万亩,森林面积268.9万亩,森林覆盖率达80.4%,林木绿化率为81.1%,是浙江省重点林区和全国重点林业县。建设“生态家园”是打造“国家东部公园”的基础性工作,而林业正是生态文明建设的“主力军”。大力发展林业事业,为建设“国家东部公园”提供良好的森林生态环境,是开化打造“国家东部公园”的基础工作、主体内容和首要任务。
