保单94-9是河北省保定市农研所于1994年由自选系472-3和53组配而成,2000年4月份通过河北省品种审定委员会审定。 该品种株型半紧凑,茎杆粗壮,叶色浓绿,活杆成熟,株高241厘米,穗位86厘米,雄穗发达,果穗筒型,穗长17.6厘米,穗粗5.3厘米,穗行数18-20行,行粒数31.2个,籽粒黄色,马齿型,干粒重285.5克,出籽率79.4％。
