为培养既懂专业知识又熟练英语的检验师,我校医学检验专业英语教学实践注重以下几方面改革:将课程安排在第四学年下学期,即学生已基本完成主要专业课和大学英语的学习,具备接受本课程的基础;通过讲解词根,帮助学生掌握专业词汇;注重专业文献的阅读和翻译,扩展教材选择,增加医学检验的发展史、著名院校的医学检验专业介绍等外延知识;要求教师结合教学目标和内容做好充分的准备,注重考核方式的多样化,采用卷面考核、英文写作、听力理解考核、口语考核、英文资料翻译等多种形式。
