2002年3月25—7月2日,著名戏剧导演熊源伟出访美国,让人吃惊的是,他在三个月的美国之行中竟然看了83场戏!对于一个普通人而言,在三个月内看83场戏已经是一个天文数字,更何况语言的障碍使得他要花费大量的时间借助字典查阅资料,了解每一个戏的相关背景。更让人吃惊的是,他还把赴美看过的83场戏的收获和感受一一记录并整理,汇总成了一部作品《等到天黑》。这近九十个不眠之夜成就的十六万字,不仅代表着一个艺术家对戏剧的思考,更包含着他对艺术的执著和热情。 “西游漫记”向我们展现了当今美国的各种戏剧状态,给中外戏剧的、交流和借鉴架起了一座桥梁。我们走过“桥”去,我们大开眼界……
From March 25 to July 2, 2002, famous theater director Xiong Yuanwei made a trip to the United States. Surprisingly, he had seen 83 games in his three-month trip to the United States.
