OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of pancreas traffic on the transplanted pancreas through the study of blood supply to the tail of human cadaver. Methods: Forty cases of fresh autopsy were excised by donor pancreatectomy. The distribution of the splenic artery in the pancreas and tail was compared with ink perfusion and arteriography. The distribution of the staining and contrast were statistically analyzed. Content and so on. Results: In each case, some light stains were observed at the tail of the pancreas. Compared with the deep-staining area, the counts and contrast of ink particles in the light-stained area were significantly decreased (P <0.01) and were confirmed by radiography Clear contrast medium missing area. CONCLUSION: The tail blood supply of the isolated pancreas is reduced and partly impacted, which may be involved in the occurrence and development of postoperative acute and chronic pancreatitis, affecting the long-term survival of donor pancreas.
