Objective: To investigate the attitude of death to patients with colorectal cancer in the face of illness, and to provide a useful guide for clinical psychological nursing. Methods: 15 cases of colorectal surgery in our hospital were extracted by convenient sampling method, and the data were analyzed artificially by the method of generic analysis. Results: Patients are more afraid of death, but most prefer to focus on the disease and its treatment, less about the issue of death; patients are taboo talking about death because the disease situation is even more frightening. CONCLUSIONS: Cancer patients have some knowledge of the cause of death, but more often show the hidden inner feelings. Clinically, patients should be given more information about the disease and their family members to encourage patients to reasonably express their views on the death benefit their future life arrangements.
