1.SS3型123号机车相控和转向架改造 SS3型电力机车是我国生产的主型机车,由于是十多年前设计定型的产品,其技术性能已不能满足当代运输需要,主要是粘着利用系数不高,故障率高。在用户支持下,株洲电力机车研究所、成都铁路局和株洲电力机车工厂联合改造了SS3机车。采用相控调压代替原调压开关级间调压,并采用两转向架分别供电的主电路结构;电子控制柜采用80年代新技术,并增加空转保护;采用加馈电阻制动,扩大电制动范围;采用平牵引拉杆降低牵引点高度、减少轴重转移。1991年6月三单位在马角坝机务段共同改造123号机车,同年7月投入试运获得成功,11月进行牵引试验,证明改造工作达到预期效果,粘着利用比原SS3机车提高10%。经过10个月共12万公里的运行考核,牵引电动机和电子系统故障率大大降低,深受用户欢迎。SS3123机
