地方性甲状腺肿,这在我国汉朝已有记载称为“瘿瘘”,后来唐隋朝称为“瘿”病,名医葛洪、王涛所著医书均列治方。解放后在党对人民健康的关怀及伟大中医政策的光辉照耀下,祖国医学在防治该病发挥了巨大作用,我国河南、陕西、吉林等地曾应用针刺疗法治疗该病,得到了良效;我省名中医师孙文鳌老先生,更有独持疗效。为了进一步阐明针刺治疗地方性甲状腺肿的机制,省卫生厅组织了山西省放射医学研究所、中医研究所、山西医学院有关教研组等单位进行深入现场(患区原平县大牛店公社)

In order to further clarify the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of endemic goiter, Provincial Department of Health organized the Radiation Medicine Research Institute of Shanxi Province, Institute of Chinese Medicine, relevant teaching and research group of Shanxi Medical College and other units to conduct in-depth site (Daniudian Commune, Yuanping County)
