页岩在破碎过程中产生而未被筛尽的粉尘,或在搬运、干馏过程中原料互相摩擦和运动所产生的粉尘,随焦油蒸汽和热载体的导出也被带出,这时粉尘就被油膜包着成为半固体状产物。这种半固体状产物我们就称为油泥。油泥的生成和带出,实质上是焦油的损失,也是焦油收率降低的原因之一。经初步调查,在抚顺的两个页岩加工厂。损失在油泥里的焦油量约占总焦油量的2~3%。这个数字是惊人的。因此,引起了广大职工的注意。对于从油泥中如何回收油分的问题,石油九厂和前石油四厂均曾进行过试验,也组织过生产,但在方法与流程上仍存在着一些问题。后来在1956年2月间,石油二厂运销科吴汉德等同志提出了从油泥中炼取焦油的合理化建议,经厂领导同意并指定技术人员协助,进行了小型试验和5吨炉的大型试验,均取得了一定的成绩。因而使从油泥中炼油有了现实性。现在石油二厂的大型生产油泥处理炉已经施工,不久便可投入生产,估计1957年内,将为国家增产不少吨焦油。现将油泥处理的各项情况简述如下。
