Over the years, reciprocating gas compressors have evolved from simple low speed machines to highly developed high speed machines. Efforts to increase machine yields, reduce their size, and reduce costs have involved issues such as how to improve the performance of their crankshafts and pistons while maintaining the standards of machine performance, reliability, service life, and the noise levels required for certain uses speed. A survey of the compressor’s power input and the diesel’s power output shows that within a certain range, the average compressor piston speed is much lower than the average diesel engine speed. From this it can be inferred that automatic valves that are widely used in compressors to simplify machinery and reduce costs have the effect on the flow of working fluid
