Waterfield等人(1983)首次发现了v sis癌基因的转化蛋白与血小板衍生的生长因子(PDGF)间具有很高的同源性。所以认为sis癌基因可能就是PDGF的编码基因。我室发现某些转化细胞对PDGF(另文发表)与表皮生长因子的感受性远低于正常(J CellBiochem 1988:Suppl 12 A:140)。据报道某些肿瘤有自分泌PDGF样生长因子的倾向,因而肿瘤细胞中sis原癌基因有无过度表达,值得注意。
Waterfield et al. (1983) found for the first time that there was a high homology between the transforming protein of the vis oncogene and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF). Therefore, it is thought that the sis oncogene may be the gene encoding PDGF. Our laboratory found that some of the transformed cells were much less sensitive to PDGF (published elsewhere) than epidermal growth factor (J CellBiochem 1988: Suppl 12 A:140). It has been reported that certain tumors have a tendency to autocrine PDGF-like growth factors, and therefore whether sis proto-oncogenes are overexpressed in tumor cells is notable.
