我们祖国自1958年进入了一天等于二十年的伟大时代,工农业都出现了史无前例的大跃进,教育事业也必须适应这一新形势的要求,为国家培养大批的又红又专的人才。在总路线的光辉照耀下,我院党委于是决定在中文、历史、数学、物理、化学五系设置六年制,进行学制改革的典型试验,招收初中毕业生,要求六年达到综合性大学本科毕业水平。这样可以缩短两年,提高人才培养率的33.3％。又因为办六年制完全利用了学院的现有条件,大大节省了国家的人力、物力、财力,符合多快好省的精神。

This will shorten the two-year period and raise the rate of talent cultivation by 33.3%. And because it has fully utilized the existing conditions of the college for six years, it has greatly saved the country’s manpower, material resources and financial resources and is in line with the spirit of making the province more prosperous and happier.
