Energy Daily, 2014-03-03 On September 24, the British Green Investment Bank (GIB) said it will invest in two wind power projects to help establish the position of the United Kingdom as a leading country in the world wind power industry. Shaun Kingsbury, the bank’s chief executive, said in a statement that the investments were made as part of the British offshore wind industry strategy with funds led by Green Investment Bank.
