美国15岁以下儿童全身恶性肿瘤的年发病率约为10~13/10万。在这些癌症患儿中有一种常见的并发症:急性精神状态改变(AMS),表现为意识丧失、定向力障碍、记忆困难、幻觉、嗜睡及惊厥。为了搞清癌症患儿AMS的发生率、病因及预后,以便获得合理的诊断和处理。本文研究对象为1981~1987年费城神经肿瘤中心收治的所有18岁以下癌症患者,不包括中枢神经系统的原发肿瘤。
The annual incidence of systemic malignancies in children under the age of 15 in the United States is about 10-13 / 100,000. In these children with cancer there is a common complication: Acute mental status changes (AMS), manifested as loss of consciousness, disorientation, memory problems, hallucinations, lethargy and convulsions. In order to clarify the incidence of AMS in children with cancer, etiology and prognosis, in order to obtain a reasonable diagnosis and treatment. This study was conducted on all patients under 18 years of age who were admitted to the Philadelphia Neurological Oncology Center from 1981 to 1987 excluding the central nervous system primary tumor.
