近几年来我国群众性治安事件频发,重庆万州事件、安徽池州事件以及今年闹的沸沸扬扬的家乐福事件等都引起国人瞩目,一方面展示了中国人的凝聚力,但另一方面也造成了社会的不稳定,严重扰乱了公共安全和社会治安。我国当前正处于建设社会主义和谐社会的关键时期,相关部门必须重视群众性治安事件,采取必要的措施避免事态的扩大和性质的转变和演化。
