当前我国正处在由传统计划经济向社会主义市场经济转变的重要时期。经济体制改革的深入以及社会主义市场经济体制的确立,必然引起人们价值观念的变革,而这一变革又会对经济运动过程产生巨大的影响。在我国,受自然经济的生产方式和计划经济体制影响所形成的价值观念,与社会主义市场经济体制是极其不相适应的。在经济体制转轨的大潮冲击之下,人们的价值观念正在实现以下几个方面的转变。 “重义轻利”向义利统一转变 中国传统价值观的核心是“重义轻利”,把道德与经济利益看作是水火不相容的,认为发展经济、追求物质利益必然会引起道德的衰退,甚至会引起社会的混乱。新中国成立后的几十年里,批“唯生产力论”,强调“以阶级斗争为纲”,又使道德过分政治化,其结果是“道德至上”与“政治挂帅”合为一体,居于至尊地位。道德建设脱离经济建设,并凌驾于经济建设之上。这种脱节与对立不利于社会主义经济、科技与政治的发展,更与市场经济的基本原则相违背。建设社会主义市场经济本身就意味着要正确处理政治、道德与经济的关系,使道德重新坐落于现实的经济基础之上。价值观由“道德至上”向重视经济利益的转变,并不意味着以社会主义的道德退化为代价。市场经济的功利价值观所孕育出来的是追求创造社会财富、
