Lohoe, Krupp-Hochi, and Lonrho (Krupp-Hoesch, Rheinbraun) recently signed a contract with the Vietnamese government to explore and develop a major iron ore deposit - Thach Khe. The syndicate will complete the feasibility study by the end of 1994. The reserves of the Thachkir deposit are 350 million tons. The deposit is located about 350km south of Hanoi
