高职院校教学的主要目的在于培养应用型人才,它通过社会对英语的需求进行教学,培养出不同类型的人才。从目前我国高职院校英语教学的发展来看,过于重视理论和技能教学,不重视英语教学的实用性。从高职英语教学的现状进行分析,针对其弊端提出了解决方案,从总体上加强职业英语教学改革,提高应用教学的实用性。
The main purpose of teaching in higher vocational colleges is to cultivate applied talents. It educates the needs of English through society and cultivates different types of talents. From the perspective of the current development of English teaching in higher vocational colleges in our country, we pay too much attention to the teaching of theory and skills and do not attach importance to the practicality of English teaching. From the analysis of the status quo of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, aiming at its shortcomings, a solution is put forward to strengthen the reform of English teaching in general and improve the practicality of applied teaching.
