在努力建立社会主义市场经济体制的同时,形成一种有利于社会主义现代化建设的思想道德文化,也就是在建设好社会主义物质文明的同时建设好社会主义精神文明,这是我国现代化进程中必须认真解决的历史性课题。这一历史任务的完成,没有中国共产党的率先垂范和中流砥柱作用,是根本办不到的。正如党的十四届六中全会指出的:“建设物质文明关键在党,建设精神文明关键也在党。”
