“海狐”(Sea fox)是英国海军用于近程反导弹的一种防御系统。在1978年8月于荷兰首都鹿特丹“海军装备展览会”上曾展出过。它实际上是一个全自动多管火箭系统。作舰艇对付反舰导弹之用。“海狐”设计的主导思想是:1.当来袭反舰导弹到达足以命中的近距离才发射。2.攻击反舰导弹的最薄弱部分(如导引头和战斗部)。由于交战距离短(据《国际防务评论》估计仅500米),而在这一距离内,标准的火箭散布只有2-4米,故允许使用无制导火箭齐射。
