一直以来,日本钢铁企业的经营成本处于世界较高的水平,但日本产品较高的品质,使其有能力获得更高的溢价,因此,成本并不是影响日本钢铁企业经营的关键问题。但是,近几年来亚洲市场中低端产品需求增长,且当地钢厂的产品与日本同类产品的品质差距缩小。由此,在当地钢厂供应的产品可以满足需求的情况下,亚洲用户不希望支付更高的价格采购日本钢材。
The operating costs of Japanese steel companies have been at a high level in the world for a long time. However, the higher quality of Japanese products enables them to obtain higher premiums. Therefore, the cost is not the key issue that affects the operation of Japanese steel companies. However, demand for low-end products in the Asian market has increased in recent years and the quality gap between local steel products and similar products in Japan has narrowed. As a result, Asian customers do not want to pay higher prices for Japanese steel when the products supplied by local mills can meet the demand.
