With the progress of social civilization, the pattern of disease and the cause of death have also undergone corresponding changes. In order to fully understand the distribution of the death causes of residents in our city, we conducted a statistical analysis of the data of all the causes of death from 1995 to 1997. Data and Methods The cause of death data comes from the city’s routine survey of all causes of death. The population figures come from the public security department. The underlying causes of death are coded using the International Classification of Diseases (ICD 9).
