20岁,我们正年轻岁月如重,光限似箭,弹指间《咸阳日报》已经走过了20年的风雨里程,迎来了复刊20周年的喜庆日子。值此之际,我们谨代表《咸阳日报》全体员工向长期以来关心和支持报社事业发展的各界人士和广大请者表示最深切的慰问和衷心的感谢!《咸阳日报》创刊于1962年1月1日,1963年2月28日停刊,1986年9月复刊,为四开四版,由月刊、周刊、周二刊、周三刊、周四刊到周五刊,1998年1月改日报,对开四版,周六刊,2003年1月改出对开四版周七刊,并取得出版八版的审批。2004年至今,通过扩版改版,已形成一张正报、三个专刊(社会视点、都市周刊、教育周刊)、一个电子版的格局,每翼报纸版面达40个版。作为市委机关报,《咸阳日报》从1986年复刊20年来,秉承着咸阳历史文化的传统,伴随着咸阳改革开放的步伐,走过春的复苏、夏的蓬勃,正在走向秋的丰硕与辉煌。在市委、市政府的正确领导下,咸阳日报社新一届领导班子,全面贯彻落实科学发展观,紧紧抓住新闻创新,报业经营,队伍建设,精神文明建设等各项工作,牢固树立“党和政府满意、干部群众爱看、广告烃蕾增收”的报纸办报方针,以报纸扩版改版、自办发行、彩色印刷为标志的系列改革取得阶段性成果,新闻舆论引导能力、报业持续发展能力、社会公众影响能力得到拓展和增强；在服务建设本部强市和全面小康咸阳的恢弘实践中激发和调动了各主面的创新热情和活力；唱响主旋律、打好主动仗、实现“三贴近”
