4月8日,世界林业研究中心总干事Davidkaimowitz来京做了关于《森林与农民生计》问题的报告。世界林业研究中心成立于1993年,多年来从事发展中国家、热带地区的森林研究,其研究内容主要涉及农民及其生存环境、环境保护和森林可持续利用、森林和农民的生计等方面。David是位有很高声望的国际林业经济与政策的专家。他在林业政策、林业投融资、制度改革、农民脱贫方面有较深的造诣。我们将报告整理如下,希望会对我们解决农民问题有所启发。
On April 8, David Kaimitzitz, director-general of the World Forestry Research Center, came to Beijing to make a report on the issue of “Livelihood of Farmers and Peasants”. The World Forestry Research Center was established in 1993 and has been engaged in forest research in developing countries and tropical regions for many years. Its research focuses on farmers and their living environment, environmental protection and sustainable use of forests, livelihoods of forests and farmers. David is an expert in the highly prestigious international forestry economy and policy. He has deep attainments in forestry policy, forestry investment and financing, system reform and peasants’ lifting from poverty. We will organize the report as follows and hopefully it will inspire us to solve the peasant problem.
