Several large-scale local wars that took place since the 1990s show that precision-guided weapons, such as cruise missiles, have become the target of long-range precision strike hijackers in the United States. However, the U.S. military has also found shortcomings of such weapons in that they have fixed flight routes, weak target recognition capabilities, long mission planning time, no targets for striking sports, and high prices. The U.S. Navy believes it is necessary to enhance the flexibility of the Tomahawk cruise missile to transform such strategic weapons into weapons capable of attacking tactical targets. After repeated demonstration, finally developed a “tactical Tomahawk” cruise missiles to adapt to the requirements of the new century war, and on August 23, 2002 and November 10, successfully conducted a "war
