继孔子初创儒学之后,战国诸子中出现了孟子和荀子真正继承和发展了儒学道统,但两位儒学大师却对儒学有着各自不同的思想和观点。本文试图通过对孟子和荀子思想的比较探讨,以期管窥儒学作为我国古代主流思想在历史演进中的继承和发展进程。
After Confucius started Confucianism, Mencius and Xunzi really inherited and developed Confucianism in Warring States. However, the two Confucian masters had their own different ideas and views on Confucianism. This article tries to discuss the thought of Mencius and Xunzi in order to gain a glimpse of the inheritance and development of Confucianism as the ancient mainstream thought of our country in the historical evolution.
